Is this thing Real??

Postby adamcarr » Thu Jul 29, 2010 5:44 pm

hey Guys,

Previously on these threads people have discussed dodgy M&P posters for gigs. I just found this on Ebay, I'd previously bought it but it never arrived, the seller refunded my purchase but I find it strage that the same exact poster has shown up again, have a look at this one guys, do you think it's real?? ... 35a8198f57

They do have the info right, venue, other acts etc, and the drawing is authentic but the question is is it an authentic poster? I guess I'm not much help.

I've never seen a color version of this poster just b&w. Not saying there can't be posters out there other than those that I've seen, but this would truly be a find IMHO. I think it's a jazzed-up reproduction, but I've been wrong (and surprised) before!

Hi Guys,

This is a reproduction (colorized version) of the original poster for the group's final concert at the Hollywood Bowl on August 18, 1967. I actually have this print and it's beautiful - I have it framed in my bedroom. I spoke to the guy I bought it from and he took the original print and had it "colorized". I also have a reproduction of the original b&w poster and the colorized version is much nicer - it's a real bargain for this price and a rarity!
