I have a question for all of my fellow Cass Elliot fans. Do you think that 1974 would have been a less memorable year if Cass hadn't died that year. It has been bugging me a bit lately. Well, even if she hadn't died that year, 1974 would have been as memorable. For example, my sister was born that year, Henry Aaron broke Babe Ruth's home run record, Richard Nixon resigned as President, and of course the great music that came out that year. I think my interest in that year woud have been the same if Cass hadn't died but her death made it more fascinating and intriging.
