Hi TravisJames and Eran,
"Midnight Voyage" is one my favorite songs. I love the chatter at the end. I never thought it being about LSD :? I thought it was about trips they had taken, for example to the Virgin Islands. I don't know :?:
Take care,

I don't think anyone knows what was behind those songs, besides John and perhaps the whole group. Everything else is pure speculation.

This is why, this is a music fan forum, Paulie, and not a physics symposium. We ARE speculating, as fans discussing songs and song lyrics would. No one is claiming to have been there or inside JP's head for that matter.

Hi,

I once heard a Mamas & The Papas radio special on a Spanish national music radio and the radio speaker said the song Frustration was about the San Francisco or in general California musicians who couldn't get to play for any band. I don't know the source he took it from, but might make sense...
